Greenhouse Assembly

A greenhouse kit can arrive as a large collection of panels, framing, fasteners, doors, vents, and manufacturer instructions. JAS Construction Sales helps Acton and Antelope Valley property owners put together customer-supplied greenhouse kits when the product, instructions, access, and prepared assembly area are a good fit for the job.

Before scheduling, send us the greenhouse brand and model, the assembly manual, and a few details about the location. Reviewing those basics first helps establish whether the kit is suitable for the requested assembly service and what should be ready before the visit.

Greenhouse Kits We Can Review

Greenhouses vary widely in their frame systems, glazing materials, size, and assembly sequence. We can review many ready-to-assemble residential greenhouse products, including compact backyard units, walk-in hobby greenhouses, aluminum-frame kits, and panel-based models intended for a prepared outdoor location.

The manufacturer’s documentation matters. It identifies the supplied components, the order in which they go together, required clearances, and any product-specific conditions. Please include the manual or a link to it when you contact us. If the kit has optional accessories, such as shelves, a roof vent, or a door kit, let us know which items are part of your order so the planned scope is clear.

Have the Site and Kit Ready

Greenhouse assembly is most productive when the selected area is already prepared for the kit. The assembly location should be accessible, clear of stored items, and suitable for the dimensions and manufacturer requirements of the greenhouse. Make sure there is room to stage cartons and components nearby while the structure is assembled.

Before your appointment, it is helpful to:

  • Confirm that the greenhouse kit has arrived and that all cartons are available.
  • Keep the manufacturer manual, packing list, and hardware packages with the product.
  • Clear a path from the delivery or storage area to the assembly location.
  • Remove obstacles from the prepared area and make any access restrictions known in advance.
  • Tell us about gates, stairs, narrow side yards, pets, parking considerations, or other site details that could affect carrying components or working around the property.

JAS does not provide foundation or slab construction, grading, leveling, or other site-preparation work for greenhouse projects. The customer is responsible for having the site prepared in accordance with the greenhouse manufacturer’s requirements before assembly is considered.

Product Manual and Component Check

A quick review before the visit can prevent avoidable delays. Greenhouse kits often use small, model-specific hardware and may contain delicate panels that need to remain protected until their assembly step. If possible, check the shipment against the manufacturer’s packing list after delivery and set aside any visibly damaged or missing parts for follow-up with the seller or manufacturer.

When you request service, share:

  • Brand, model number, and product link, if available.
  • The manufacturer’s assembly instructions.
  • Approximate greenhouse size and the accessories included with the kit.
  • Photos of the unopened cartons or organized components, if helpful.
  • Photos of the prepared assembly area and the route to it.

This information lets JAS confirm the proposed work accurately. If the product instructions, kit condition, site access, or requested work fall outside a suitable assembly scope, that can be identified before an appointment is set.

What Greenhouse Assembly Includes—and What It Does Not

The service is focused on assembling an eligible customer-supplied greenhouse kit at a prepared location, following the applicable product instructions within the agreed scope. Final availability and scope are confirmed individually after the product and site details are reviewed.

Greenhouse assembly does not include building a foundation or slab, site grading, irrigation, electrical work, plumbing, HVAC work, permitting, engineering, or construction of a custom greenhouse structure. We also do not make claims about a kit’s code compliance, structural performance, weather resistance, or manufacturer warranty. For product requirements and care, refer to the manufacturer’s documentation.

Plan Your Assembly Visit

Once we have the kit and site information, we can discuss an assembly visit for your Acton or Antelope Valley property. Keep the product manual accessible, have the prepared area available, and make sure someone can answer any on-site questions about access or the supplied kit.

If an unexpected issue appears during assembly—such as missing hardware, damaged components, or a difference between the kit and its instructions—we will review the situation with you before proceeding with any work that was not part of the confirmed scope.
