Arcade Game Assembly

An arcade cabinet can be the centerpiece of a game room, but the boxes may contain a large number of panels, fasteners, trim pieces and components that have to be assembled in a particular order. This service is for putting together customer-supplied, ready-to-assemble arcade games and game cabinets according to the manufacturer’s supplied instructions.

Whether the unit is for a home game room, a recreation area or a gift, send the product name, model and assembly guide before arranging service. Those details make it possible to confirm that the request is for an RTA unit and to understand the size of the assembly.

Arcade Units Within Scope

This page covers boxed arcade products designed by their manufacturer to be assembled after delivery. Typical requests may include:

  • ready-to-assemble upright arcade cabinets;
  • home arcade game units supplied in cartons;
  • tabletop or counter-height arcade cabinets with an assembly manual;
  • multi-part home game cabinets intended for customer assembly.

The product must be supplied by the customer with its original components and instructions. If several cabinets are being assembled, include the quantity and model of each one in the enquiry rather than treating them as one item.

What to Have Ready Before Assembly

Keep every box for the arcade unit in the work area until the assembly is complete. Hardware packs can be similar in appearance, and the instructions may call for parts from more than one carton at different stages.

A suitable preparation list includes:

  • the full set of delivered cartons and unopened hardware packs;
  • the manufacturer’s manual, online instructions or product link;
  • clear floor space for laying out panels and hardware;
  • the intended position of the finished cabinet;
  • advance notice of stairs, tight doorways or other access conditions.

Check the delivered cartons for visible damage before service is requested. If a component appears broken, a hardware pack is missing or the guide does not match the product, mention that in advance. Assembly can be discussed from the product as supplied; replacement parts and product repairs are not part of this service.

Assembly Is Different From Technical Setup

Arcade products can contain screens, controls, speakers, lighting or digital menus, but this page is limited to physical assembly of a ready-to-assemble unit. It does not include diagnosing faults, repairing a machine, configuring software or accounts, or servicing a coin mechanism.

Electrical modification and wiring work are also outside the scope. After the cabinet has been assembled, any manufacturer-directed plug-in or standard user setup should be handled using the product documentation. Requests involving altered electronics, internal wiring changes or a non-working unit need separate assessment and are not covered as arcade assembly.

Plan the Cabinet Location

Choose the game-room location before the cabinet is built where possible. A completed arcade unit can be much less convenient to reposition than its individual cartons. Leave working room around the proposed location and consider how the cabinet will fit with nearby furniture, doors and walkways.

This is not a moving, hauling or transport service. The customer should have the supplied product at the assembly location and make the intended placement available before work begins. For a compact game area with other items to assemble, list each item so the request remains clear.
